Boss Litho Installs RYOBI MHI V3000LX

Retailers, many of them in the fashion industry, use complex, high-end catalogs, magazines and folding cartons printed by Boss Litho Inc. as a way to showcase their unique brands. To expand beyond its current packaging printing capabilities, the City of Industry, CA-based company recently installed a RYOBI MHI V3000LX from RM Machinery Inc., the exclusive authorized distributor of 41-inch V3000 series presses.
 
The V3000LX is designed to offer print service providers a wider product line. The press features a maximum sheet size of 29 1/2 x 41 11/32 inches and top printing speed of 16,200 sheets per hour. It accommodates standard offset paper, packaging board and plastic substrates up to 0.040 inches. Boss Litho outfitted the six-color V3000LX with an aqueous tower coater, delivery extension and infrared dryer.
 
A major advantage of the press is the SimulChanger system, enabling fast, fully automated plate changing. SimulChanger simultaneously replaces old plates with fresh plates on every unit in one operation in a little more than a minute.
